Netflix stops selling previously-viewed DVDs

Netflix has always had a great service on the side of their standard service. They are known for shipping DVDs to subscribers by mail and recently, for streaming movies over the Internet. But they also offered previously-viewed DVDs for sale.

That latter offering is about to be no more. In fact, the official news out of the Netflix camp is that since their primary business is the DVD rental shipments, they've opted to focus exclusively on that. DVDs that have been viewed before will no longer be sold from Netflix.

If you want to get in a few last cheap DVD purchases, however, you can do so by browsing their selection up until November 30th, when they will no longer be available. I don't know about you folks, but I'm going to miss the $5.99 movie purchases.
