MiTAC PS535F Ruggedized GPS Smartphone Clears FCC
Details of a new MiTAC/GETAC smartphone have emerged, courtesy of the FCC, complete with GPS, WiFi and Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS. The PS535F has a ruggedized casing and a touchscreen of unspecified size, together with a number of rubber-clad buttons; it's likely intended for industrial or field-use.

Storage is via SD/MMC card, plus there's a mini USB connector and 3.5mm headphone socket. As well as GPS and WiFi there's also Bluetooth and unspecified cellular radio bands. The handset will use the TacLink GPS user interface.
