Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 introduced

Microsoft showed off a brand new mouse today called the Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 and this thing is designed to perfectly complement the average netbook while incorporating BlueTrack technology.

BlueTrack is a laser tracking system that can work on regular surfaces like a mouse pad or desk and rough and bumpy ones like carpet and granite. The mouse includes a 2.4GHz Nano USB transceiver that only sticks out 0.4-inches. This way, you won't accidentally bump it and break it.

But, should you want to unplug for a bit, you can store the Nano transceiver in the underside of the mouse. Consequently, putting the transceiver in its storage compartment turns off the mouse. The mouse runs on one AA battery. Wireless range is 15-feet. Compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. The Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 will be available in August in white, black, pink, blue and lime for $39.95.
