Microsoft invites select Xbox One owners to beta test update

Microsoft has announced that it is looking for Xbox One owners to preview the next update for the console. The next update will land in March. Hopefully this time out there will be no issues that go along with the update like the black screen problems some had after this month’s update.

Microsoft is now inviting select Xbox Live members to preview some of the new features that the Xbox One will get with the March update and future system updates. Microsoft will ask these people to provide feedback before the updates are rolled out around the world.

Microsoft says that the next system update will be rolling out next week to the users who will preview the features. Those chosen to preview the features will provide feedback via a private forum and will be able to opt out of testing future features.

Microsoft has promised that the features rolling out in March will have a big impact on multiplayer and party experience on the console. It’s unclear exactly how Microsoft is choosing the users that will get to preview the new features.
