Mercedes C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet pack new four bangers

Mercedes has pulled the wraps off the new C-Class coupe and cabriolet. There is an AMG version of the C-Class as well. These base C-Class cars get new four-cylinder engines and some of the models in the C-Class range sport 48V onboard electronics for driving pleasure and efficiency. All models get new front and rear ends, new allow wheels and new colors.

Standard LED High-Performance headlamps and optional Multibeam LED headlamps are available. Inside the new C-Class gets a digital cockpit measuring 12.3-inches and a larger media display measuring 10.25-inches. The steering wheel is multi-function with touch-control buttons.

The interior has lots of customization options with open-pore trim elements. The interior lighting system ambient lighting supports 64 colors. New audio systems include a nine-speaker system with 225W output as an option between the standard sound system and the top end Burmester system.

Mercedes fits Dynamic Body Control suspension with damping characteristics that are adjustable in three stages or Air Body Control suspension. The C-Class will launch in July with C 200, C 200 4Matic, C 220 d, and the AMG version.

C200 buyers get a 184hp four with 280 Nm of torque standard. The 4Matic version uses the same engine. The C 220 d gets a 194hp four. The cabriolet version of all four models will also be available at launch.
