Megafoot Speaker of Doom

This mammoth Ark Of The Audio is just a rendering of what one "could" look like. They have yet to decide what the final production version will look like.

What is for sure is that the final version will have eight drivers... and an amp in it's base to power it all. Eight drivers, if the picture is any indication than that is going to be a whole lot of sound coming from one speaker.

The RSC500 might be available as soon as year's end. They are estimating a price of $1200, but that is mostly dependent on the quality of products used to make the speaker, namely the woods and other materials to make the box. I personally would pay that in a heartbeat for something like this, but lets hope they can come up with a design that is more shipping friendly.
