Lyve Cam shoots 4K video and still pics that upload automatically

Lyve Minds has unveiled a new product that is designed to sit in the middle of your party or get together and shoot images and video that are uploaded automatically to the web. The camera is called the Lyve Cam and it has a 13MP image sensor and the ability to shoot video at 4K resolution. Internal storage inside the camera is 32GB and it has integrated WiFi.

The idea behind the camera is that it allows you to shoot images and video of an event without having to hold up a camera the whole time. It would be perfect for parents who don't like to take pictures of birthdays, but want to have pics and video to look back on in the future.

The Lyve Cam can be placed on a tripod thanks to an integrated tripod mount. It also works if you place it on a shelf. Settings allow you to choose the interval that the camera uses to upload images to a shared online photo album called Lyve Mix.

The Lyve Cam is small at about the size of a pair of hockey pucks stacked on top of each other. It can capture six different video formats and supports the Apple HLS format for live streaming of video. Pricing for the Lyve Cam is unannounced at this time. It will come with unlimited online photo and video storage and delivery of the camera set to begin this fall.
