Libratone Live and Lounge AirPlay speakers

Libratone has unveiled a pair of new AirPlay speakers for your music that includes the Libratone Lounge and Live speakers. The Lounge is a larger speaker that is intended to be used in the living room of your home. The device will stream music wirelessly from your iPhone or iPod and will also connect to your TV allowing you to use it as the speaker for your home theater. The Lounge offers a 360-degree sound experience.

The Lounge comes in several colors and while it will play music wirelessly, it also has a 3.5mm input for other devices. The speaker is recommended to be placed against a wall so the sound reflects out into the room. Inside the speaker are a single 8-inch inverted woofer, dual 4-inch ceramic midranges, and a pair of 1-inch ribbon tweeters. It has 150W of total power with 25W to each tweeter and 25W to each midrange. The Lounge measures 8.7-inches H x 40-inches W x 4.7-inches D and weighs 27 pounds.

The Live speaker is speaker system that is also AirPlay compatible and is designed to fill you room with sound. The speaker is designed for 360-degree sound and is made to be placed against a wall for the best sound. The speaker measures in at 18.5-inches H x 7.7-inches W x 6-inches D and weighs 14 pounds. It has a single 5-inch bass driver, dual 3-inch midrange drivers and a pair of 1-inch ribbon tweeters. It has AirPlay, 3.5mm audio, and optical digital sound capability. The Lounge will ship in September and will cost £1099. The Live will also ship in September with a price of £599.
