LG Tone Active Bluetooth headset arrives tomorrow

LG has another Bluetooth headset for its LG Tone product lineup — this model is called the LG Tone Active, and as its name suggests, the headset is targeted at the more active users out there. There's an IPX3 rating, which is a water resistance that is moderate but able to handle exposure to sweat. As with the other LG Tone headsets, the Tone Active features a band that goes around the wearer's neck and earbuds that snug into the band's end pieces when stored.

In addition to the IPX3 rating, the LG Tone Active features a durable and lightweight design, says LG. Connectivity comes via Bluetooth, and there's quad-layer speaker technology with Digital MEMS Microphone. The earbuds retract, and there are two sizes to accommodate most users.

The headset offers up to 9.5 hours of listening on a charge, and a standby time of up to 18 days. If you're talking rather than listening to music, the headset will run for up to 13 hours. The total weight comes in at 1.7 ounces, and it has an operating range over Bluetooth of 33ft. Up to two devices can be connected at once.

The new LG Tone Active model will be available starting tomorrow from AT&T in the color orange. This is an exclusive offering through the wireless carrier, and will only be available for a limited (and unspecified) duration. The model will be priced at $129 USD.
