LG G7 ThinQ now available in the US through Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile

The LG G7 ThinQ smartphone is now available to buy in the United States. The phone, which was first unveiled in recent days, promises premium features at a premium price, though it's not available through every carrier. Customers located in the US can get the LG G7 ThinQ now for T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular through various online retailers.

The company announced the availability today, saying it can now be purchased in the US for $750 USD from B&H, Amazon, and Best Buy, as well as the four aforementioned carriers. AT&T is the only major US carrier missing from the supported list, those its customers can get other LG phones on the network.

The LG G7 ThinQ features a Qualcomm 845 Mobile Platform, 64GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM. The handset has a notable 6.1-inch 19.5:9 FullVision display with a 3120 x 1440 QHD+ resolution (there's a notch), that joined by the maker's own Super Bright Display technology.

The phone won't blow you away, but it does boast some upper tier features, not the least of which is a Hi-FI Quad DAC, dual 16-megapixel rear cameras, an IP68 rating, 8-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera, microSD card slot, 3000mAh battery, and it runs Android Oreo.

On paper, at least, the LG G7 ThinQ looks like a good choice for buyers who are particular about their phone's display, audio, and/or camera. The model doesn't come cheap at $750 USD, though, meaning LG has to compete with some bigger, more popular competitors across those categories.
