LG G-Slate For T-Mobile Announced At CES 2011

Not to be outdone by Motorola, LG and T-Mobile have teamed up to officially announce LG's first Android-based tablet, now called the G-Slate. The device will be a full 4G tablet, and will be powered by the newly showcased Android 3.0, or Honeycomb. The release states that the G-Slate will be one of the first 4G-enabled tablet devices to make use of Android 3.0, which was designed from the ground up for tablet devices.

Additional details of the tablet are pretty thin right now, but we know that it will have access to the standard Google-branded fare, like Gmail, as well as access to Google Books, as well. Pricing, and an exact date other than "in the coming months" isn't known at this point. The press release is below. There's also a video thanks to T-Mobile's YouTube account, showing off the tablet in a press render, which you can watch below. (It's the same Honeycomb preview video from earlier today.)
