Latest Teleglass HUD Still Looks Like POS

There exist tiny displays, small and discrete enough to be embedded in the lens of your glasses but practically unnoticeable to anyone around you.  This, however, isn't one of them.  Teleglass are hawking the latest version of their spectacles-mounted display, the T3-F; a limpet-like monstrosity that drops a 2cm TV display in front of your right eye.

They're positioning it as useful for commuters, which I suppose there's some mileage in since it's always helpful to be able to distract yourself from a boring journey and yet stay aware of when you need to get off, but you'd forever be pointed at and mocked by those around you.  Don't be fooled into thinking that the T3-F is cable-free, either, since you'll have to hide whatever source is feeding it.  It weighs 35g and has QVGA resolution, and can run for several hours on 2 AA cells.

Maybe this is one of those things that might work in Japan but won't anywhere else.  Yours for 102,900 Yen ($848)
