Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 racks up 700 pre-orders
The best selling Lamborghini car ever produced was the Gallardo. Sadly, that Gallardo was discontinued not long ago. The upside is that the discontinuation of the most popular Lamborghini model means a new Lambo is here.
That car is called the Huracan LP 610-4 and we already know most all the technical specs of the car. The Huracan will use a 5.2L V10 engine that produces 610 hp and 560nm of torque. Lamborghini says that V10 will push the car to 100km/h from a dead stop in 3.2 seconds. The car also promises a top speed of over 325 km/h.
The car also has some tech on the inside with a 12.3-inch TFT instrument panel and lots more. Lamborghini doesn't make anything that would be considered affordable. Since the company makes exotic cars, its sales are expectedly low with the company selling about 2121 cars in 2013.
If the number of pre-orders the Huracan has racked up are any indication, it will be a major success for Lamborghini. The car is currently on a tour of the world where VIP buyers can check the car out and order one if they want. So far, 700 well-heeled VIPs have ordered. That is about 1/3 of the cars that Lamborghini sold last year and the Huracan pre-order tour won't stop until the end of the month. The car gets officially unveiled in Geneva on March 4.
