Kohl's will soon accept your Amazon returns

Earlier this month a new partnership between Amazon and Kohl's was announced, with the brick-and-mortar retailer starting to sell the online giant's branded hardware, like the Echo speakers, in dedicated areas called the Amazon Smart Home Experience. It looks like that deal is already expanding, as Kohl's has revealed that it will begin accepting return orders from Amazon customers for free.

Starting in October, Amazon shoppers can take their return order to one of 82 Kohl's locations in Los Angeles and Chicago, where it will packed and shipped for free. The retailer is even going as far as setting up dedicated parking spots near store entrances just for those with Amazon returns.

Amazon already makes returns via USPS or UPS simple, but now customers have another option when it comes to dropping the package off, and the box doesn't even have to be tapped closed for Kohl's to accept it.

"We are thrilled to launch this unprecedented and innovative concept, allowing customers to bring in their unpackaged Amazon returns to Kohl's and we will pack them, ship them, and return them to Amazon for free," said Kohl's Richard Schepp. "This is a great example of how Kohl's and Amazon are leveraging each other's strengths."
