Ken Block Gymkhana 10 introduces epic Hoonitruck

Ken Block is known more for his awesome Gymkhana videos and the crazy cars he uses in them than he is for his racing career by most folks. It's been a while since we had a new Gymkhana video and in Gymkhana 10 Block is behind the wheel of an insane truck that was two years in the marking. The truck is called the Hoonitruck.

Hoonitruck start life as a 1977 F-150, all that is left of that Ford truck is the body. The rest of the F-150 was replaced with racing parts and a tube frame chassis. The heart of the Hoonitruck is a 914hp Ford Performance EcoBoost V6 engine that is derived from the Le Mans winning Ford GT.

The truck is all-wheel drive and rolls on Toyo Proxes ST III 315/35R20 tires that are fitted to fancy Fifteen52 Turbomac HD 20x10.5 wheels. To be sure a beast with 914hp can stop, the truck is fitted with giant brakes.

Those big turbos and the intake look very cool sticking out of the hood of the truck. That fancy intake manifold is a Ford Performance direct metal 3D printed aluminum unit. Nothing of the old F-150 is left on the inside of the Hoonitruck.

It has racing seats, drift brake, a sequential 6-speed transmission and a fancy digital dash. Being a truck, it naturally has a tow hitch out back. As for why a 1977 F-150, Block says his dad had one and he learned to drive in it and did his first burnout in that truck. Gymkhana 10 will air November 16 along with Gymkhana Files on Amazon Prime.
