JBL Studio 2 loudspeaker family features five models

JBL has announced a new loudspeaker series that includes multiple speaker models. The new speaker series is called the JBL Studio 2 line. The series includes five full-range speakers in a choice of designs. The new speaker series includes three floor standing models and a pair of bookshelf models.

The family of speakers includes multiple center, surround, and subwoofer options. There are enough speakers in the series to set up an audio system ranging from 2.0 to 9.2 channels of sound. JBL says that the speakers are perfect for playback from a variety of input sources ranging for CDs to Blu-ray movies.

JBL promises that the speakers will provide natural balance and lots of detail and accuracy of sound from any playback source. The speaker line will offer gloss black top panels and finishes to match different decors.

The price of the speakers depends on the style and use. The cheapest speakers in the family is the 2.5-way dual 4-inch center channel unit for $249. The most expensive speakers in the series top out at $599 including a 12-inch powered subwoofer or a 3-way dual 8-inch floor standing loudspeaker. There are several price points in between.
