iRiver Story eReader set for CES debut

CES will kick off in very soon and with the show will come a ton of new gadgets and electronics. You can bet that eReaders will be big items on display at the show this year with the success of devices like the Kindle and Nook. iRiver will be unveiling its new eReader called the Story at CES.

The Story is an eReader with a 6-inch e-Ink display, is only 0.36-inches thick, and sports a full QWERTY keyboard. The device can view office files, and has a built-in MP3 player, voice recorder, and personal organizer with memo pad and scheduler.

The device has 2GB of internal memory and has a SD card slot for more storage. It also supports PDF, PPT, DOC, and XLS files. The Story is set to ship in January at undisclosed pricing. iRiver also reports that it is meeting with major newspaper publishers for content.
