iHome iP1 iPhone dock speaker system now available

iHome announced that they are beginning to ship the iP1 today, an iPhone and iPod dock with built-in speaker system that offers something for those looking for a higher-end option than the standard dock.

The iP1 is a part of the company's Studio series and is the first to sport Bongiovi Acoustics' Digital Power Station or DPS. This makes the audio richer and have more depth without the need for humungous speakers.

Specs include 100W speaker output total between two 4-inch drivers and 1-inch tweeters with silk-domes. It has a 3.5mm audio input, composite and component video outputs, a remote control and more. You can get the iHome iP1 now for $299.99
