HyperX Cloud Mix Bluetooth gaming headset supports hi-res audio

HyperX has announced the launch of its new Cloud Mix Bluetooth gaming headset, a model featuring 40mm drivers and dual chamber technology. The headset is suitable for voice chat and music, as well, boasting up to 20 hours of battery life and a Hi-Res Audio certification. The company is launching its new model exclusively in the US, where it is available now.

The HyperX Cloud Mix headset has a sleek design coupled with advanced features, including an integrated microphone for use over Bluetooth and a detachable, flexible microphone for use while chatting or playing games. The gaming microphone is Discord and TeamSpeak certified.

Users have direct access to microphone and audio controls; there are also indicators that show status while in Bluetooth mode. The headset features a wired mode, which is necessary when listening to hi-res audio in the fullest quality; there's also Bluetooth for wireless use.

When used in Bluetooth wireless mode, users get up to 20 hours of runtime per charge. As far as specs go, the Cloud Mix boasts a 10Hz to 40,000Hz frequency range, closed back design, a 275 gram weight, and an included 1.3 meter headset cable. Finally, the internal microphone is an omni-directional electret condenser offering; the boom microphone is noise-cancelling.
