Hulu gets Nickelodeon TV shows, movies in Viacom deal

Hulu and Viacom have struck an on-demand content deal that brings a variety of shows to the streaming service, including Daria, My Super Sweet 16, and more. As well, Hulu has announced that it is getting 11 Nickelodeon shows under this agreement, plus more than 20 movies. The company is also bringing three kid-friendly shows back to its streaming platform.

First things first, Hulu says it will be bringing the following three children's shows back to its on-demand platform: Penguins of Madagascar, Alvinnnn!!! and the Chipmunks, and Kung Fu Panda. Hulu has already proven a great option for families in need of kid-friendly content, and the addition of these three shows help expand that appeal.

In addition, Hulu says that it is the exclusive destination to stream the following shows thanks to this deal: Daria, Nathan for You, New Edition Story, and My Super Sweet 16.

A full list of new shows arriving on Hulu, as well as the movies, haven't been revealed yet. The company says that more Nickelodeon content will be rolling out on the platform throughout 2018, so we'll have to wait and see what ultimately ends up arriving on the platform. However, we do know the following is now available on-demand:

- Big Time Rush

- School of Rock

- Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn

- Hunter Street

- Make It Pop

- Every Witch Way
