HP Pro x2 612 hybrid targets business users

HP has introduced a bunch of new PCs, among them being the Pro x2 612 hybrid notebook. The Pro x2 is targeted at business users, and features a detachable tablet portion that allows users to utilize it as a slate when needed, and as a laptop other times. The notebook is set to launch in September, price still unknown.

The HP Pro x2 612 features a 12.5-inch display with up to Full HD resolution. Under the hood, the detachable offers both Intel Core i3 and i5 options. With the slate portion one can attach a related Power Keyboard with its own integrated battery for extra run time.

With the combination of batteries, users can get up to a little over 14 hours of battery time, while the slate portion alone offers a little over 8 hours. There's a couple USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort, VGA, and RJ-45, as well as a connector for use with an HP UltraSlim dock.

An alternative is a soft ultra-mobile backlit keyboard, which offers users a single USB 3.0 port, combo audio jack, and the power port. There's also an optional Wacom pen with an integrated holder. Rounding it all out is an LTE modem and a pair of HD webcams.
