If you're like me, you never have an internet connection that's fast enough. At 30 Mbps download speeds, Verizon's FIOS fiber optic to the home network can deliver speeds that can satisfy the bandwidth needs of many an internet junky.

With a higher reported quarterly earning, Verizon has said it will be spending close to $18 billion dollars in the coming years on FIOS installs. This is certainly good news as at this time the service is only available in limited areas.

The service offers download speeds ranging from 5 Mbps to 30 Mbps for $40 to $180 a month. Upload speeds still enjoy their strict limitations with 2 Mbps for the lower plans and 5 Mbps for the 30 Mbps plan.
