Volvo 360c Gallery

Volvo has revealed a new autonomous car concept, the Volvo 360c, designed to raise questions about the practicality and safety of driverless vehicles. On the outside, it's a sizable vehicle on the same footprint as an XC90.

Outside, there's a light strip and sound, which Volvo believes could better communicate with pedestrians and other drivers still in manual control. Volvo envisages using directed ultrasonics, too, to catch the attention of people walking directly in front of the car.

Inside, Volvo envisages four different cabin possibilities. One of which would offer a full bed, making the 360c a potential competitor to short-haul flights.
