Nokia 9 PureView Gallery

The Nokia 9 PureView has some big shoes to fill. When the PureView brand launched back in 2012, it was Nokia and Zeiss' combination of a huge sensor and crystal-clear optics that made it a photography powerhouse. Now, HMD and Light have used a five camera array on the Nokia 9 PureView to deliver similarly impressive photography in a different way.

The multiple sensors are on the back of an Android One phone, running a pure version of Google's OS. There's Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 and 6GB of RAM, along with 128GB of storage. IP67 waterproofing has been added, along with a 5.9-inch 2K P-OLED display. In short, it's HMD's beefiest Nokia-branded phone so far.

That's despite being unexpectedly affordable. The phone is priced at $699, unlocked and SIM-free, though HMD warns that it is only making a limited number of handsets.
