Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Gallery

Hyundai may not be planning to bring a vast, luxury sedan to market, but the Le Fil Rouge is still important to the automaker's plans. Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show 2018, the sizable sedan represents the company's vision for its future design language. That includes a lot more architectural cues, among other things.

The inside has a pleasing openness to it, courtesy of plenty of carved-out door and dashboard trim. Hyundai's palette of materials is a welcome change from the status-quo, too, with wood veneer joined by fabric. Buttons and other controls glow through them, disappearing when not necessary.

Meanwhile, it's also Hyundai's contribution to the Internet of Things. Speak to the Le Fil Rouge's onboard AI, and you can remotely control your smart home equipment.
