Audi e-tron GT Concept Gallery

Audi brought a shiny new concept car to the LA Auto Show 2018, but it's one with a secret in the wings. The Audi e-tron GT Concept is the automaker's newest all-electric vehicle, a "four-door-coupe" in the manner of the A7, only zero emissions.

From the outside there are some shared styling cues with the upcoming 2019 Audi e-tron SUV, which will go on sale in the US in 2019. However, unlike that utility vehicle, this is a seductive long-distance cruiser. Audi has given its concept 590 horsepower to play with, courtesy of two electric motors, one for each axle.

Range is estimated to exceed 248 miles, though that's on European WLTP testing rather than the US EPA cycle. Meanwhile, an 800 volt charging system could – with a suitably beefy charger – add around 200 miles of range in roughly 20 minutes. Best of all, Audi says the e-tron GT Concept will spawn a production model by the end of 2020.
