Apple iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max Gallery

The iPhone Xs and Xs Max were revealed on September 12th, 2018 alongside a third device with a lower price. This changed Apple's previous 3-phone strategy, which was to release two phones in the standard tick-tock timeline and one premium phone. Now, with the iPhone XR on the lower end of three, both the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max bring us back to a place where Apple's flag-bearer phone has similar specs in two size.

The iPhone Xs looks a lot like the iPhone X. In fact it's nearly identical on the outside, save the new Gold color for the Xs. Inside the device is a new A12 Bionic chip with "Next-generation Neural Engine" and a newly boosted IP68 waterproofing throughout. The iPhone X had IP67 (1 meter up to 30 minutes) while IP68 gives you 2 meters up to 30 minutes.

The new iPhone Xs weighs just .10 ounce more than the iPhone X – that's 3 grams. Barely able to be perceived by the average human. Height, width, and depth are exactly the same – which means old cases (for iPhone X) should work fine on iPhone Xs.

The iPhone Xs Max has the biggest display ever delivered on an iPhone. While iPhone Xs has a 5.8-inch display, the display on the Max is 6.5-inches. This device also has a few more pixels, at 2688 by 1242 pixels – and both have True Tone Display tech, HDR display, and a newly large 512GB internal storage size available (iPhone X went up to 256GB only).
