2023 Kia Sportage Gallery

There's a lot riding on the new Sportage, and Kia is taking no chances. The subcompact SUV – and Kia's longest-running nameplate – gets a complete refresh, larger in all dimensions than its predecessor. There's a more distinctive design, too, with a bold grille and longer wheelbase.

Initially, there's just one engine: a 2.4-liter gas inline-4 from which Kia expects about 187 horsepower. AWD will be optional, and FWD standard. Down the line, though, there'll be other options including a hybrid Sportage.

Inside, there's more standard safety tech than before, along with features like standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Options include twin 12.3-inch dashboard displays, wireless phone charging, and WiFi hotspot. Kia will also offer new Sportage X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige trims which have standard AWD.
