Bentley's range is growing, and the V8 engine is finding its way into another iteration of the Bentayga SUV. Leading the charge for the 2022 model year is the Bentayga S, combining the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with some of the sporting tuning, style, and on-road prowess of the Bentayga Speed. That model will still be offered, of course, with Bentley's familiar W12 engine.

There'll also be the Bentayga Hybrid, and the Bentayga V8, covering those who want more efficiency or just plain luxury from their high-end SUV. Styling varies across the board, with your choice of glossy chrome at one extreme, and a blacked-out finish at the other. Inside, there's leather, Alcantara, plenty of real wood and metal, and the new infotainment system we saw added with the second-generation SUV.

By default, they all hold up on the road. An optional All-Terrain Specification adds four modes – Snow and Wet Grass; Dirt and Gravel; Mud and Trail; and Sand – and boosts the wading depth to 19.6-inches.
