2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Gallery

Mercedes' new flagship is here, and the 2021 S-Class Sedan is everything you'd expect from the detail-obsessed automaker. Spearheading not just its obsessional luxury but its focus on technology too, the new S-Class promises to be more powerful, electrified, and jam-packed with gadgetry inside. That includes the latest in augmented reality.

There'll be an EQ Boost hybridized six-cylinder gas engine in the 2021 S500 4MATIC, and an electrified V8 biturbo in the 2021 S580 4MATIC. Down the line we're expecting AMG to play its part, and deliver even more than the 469hp and 516 lb-ft of torque you get from that car. Rear axle steering is available, while enhanced driver assistance is standard.

Inside, there's a 4D surround sound system, a huge OLED touchscreen in the center console, and the second-generation of MBUX, the automaker's infotainment system. That's now 50-percent more powerful. An AR head-up display can project navigation graphics and more into the driver's line of sight.

Expect the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedan to arrive in US dealerships come the first half of 2021.
