2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Sedan and Wagon Gallery

Mercedes-AMG has revealed its range-topping E-Class models, and if you were worried that the automaker wouldn't have a response to the new BMW M5 and Audi RS6 Avant, fear not. The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Sedan and Wagon take the handsome luxury mid-rangers and give them a performance upgrade, along with new styling. That means a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine under the hood.

603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque are nothing to be ashamed of, and neither is a 180 mph top speed: electronically-limited, naturally. The sedan does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds; the wagon in 3.4. Both get an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission, capable of multiple downshifts and double-clutching.

All-wheel drive is standard, along with a beefier bodykit and wider track. Inside there's plenty of leather and Alcantara, along with Mercedes' latest MBUX infotainment system and new capacitive-button steering wheel. Expect both AMG cars in the US in late 2020.
