To say truck fans have been eagerly awaiting the new 2021 Ford F-150 would be an understatement, with anticipation for the fourteenth-generation pickup high. Promising a beefier, tougher upgrade on the current F-150, this new model keeps the key design themes and then turns them up to eleven. Meanwhile practicality has seen a big boost, too.

As before there'll be six trims, three beds, and three cab options. There'll also be six engine choices, including the naturally-aspirated V8 that F-150 fans refuse to give up, two EcoBoost engines, and a new hybrid. That pairs a 3.5-liter EcoBoost with an electric motor for improved range and efficiency.

Inside, there are a host of new comfort and tech features. That includes the option of 180-degree reclining seats, a clever fold-out table in the center console, and Ford's latest SYNC 4 infotainment system on up to a 12-inch display. From 2021, Active Drive Assist – complete with hands-free driving assistance – will be offered as an upgrade.
