2020 Toyota Supra Gallery

The Supra is back, and Toyota is promising its two-seater sports GT will be better than ever. Returning for the 2020 model year, the new Supra packs a 3.0-liter inline-six engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. That pushes 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque through the rear wheels and a slick active differential.

Outside, the styling is likely to be love-it-or-hate-it. Strongly influenced by the Calty FT-1 concept, the long hood and tiny cabin give it a striking profile; it's the front and rear that are probably going to be more divisive. Inside, the fact that the 2020 Supra is the fruit of a collaboration with BMW is clear, with the dashboard almost identical to that of the new BMW Z4.

While it might not be unique, it's definitely not slow. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph, and with Launch Mode – which comes as standard – you'll do 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Not bad for a coupe that starts at under $50k when it arrives in dealerships in the summer of 2019.
