2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE Gallery

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the 2020 GLE, the fourth-generation of its luxury SUV. Now offered with an optional third row of seating, the new model also packs a 48-volt active suspension system, which Mercedes is calling E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL. That promises to individually control the spring and damping forces at each wheel.

In fact, the 2020 GLE can even scan the road ahead, preemptively figuring out what the surface is like and adjusting the suspension to suit. There's also EQ Boost, using the 48-volt system to add up to 21 horsepower – for short periods of time – in the GLE 450 4MATIC.

Inside, there's the new MBUX infotainment system, this time adding MBUX Interior Assistant gesture control. Options include augmented video for navigation, wireless charging, and an AMG Line package. Mercedes says the new SUV will arrive in US dealerships from mid-2019.
