2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport Gallery

Land Rover has given its sporting SUV a makeover, with the 2020 Discovery Sport promising more tech, a more cosseting cabin, and even a more frugal drivetrain. Offered for the 2020 model year for the first time with a hybrid system, the new Discovery Sport borrows the tech from the 2020 Evoque. Specifically, it's a 286 horsepower mild-hybrid, with a 48V system.

The cabin still gets three rows of seats, but there are new storage locations and an upgraded range of materials. Most interesting is a leather alternative, that uses recycled polyester microfiber. Second row seats fold 40/20/40, and can slide back and forth.

As you'd expect, the off-road credentials haven't been diluted, and there's Land Rover's second-generation Active Driveline system, Terrain Response 2, and up to 4,409 pounds of towing capacity. R-Dynamic and Black Exterior Pack options will be available, while the 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system is standard. It'll go on sale later in 2019.
