2019 Lexus UX Gallery

Lexus sells SUVs and crossovers by the bucket-load, and so the 2019 Lexus UX is a no-brainer. Its first luxury compact crossover, the UX slots in underneath the NX and RX, offering a smaller model for predominantly urban drivers. The styling is outsized, however, with bulging wheel arches and no shortage of angles.

Two engines will be offered. The UX 200 will have a new, four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine, while the UX 250h has a new hybrid drive. That uses a variety of driver style monitoring to figure out when best to use EV power and when to save it.

Inside, the cabin gets new trim inspired by Japanese paper crafts, along with clever details like wirelessly-powered illuminating controls. The UX will go on sale in the US in December 2018.
