2019 Audi A6 and A7 Gallery

Audi's 2019 A6 and A7 are high-tech siblings. Carrying the style DNA of the Audi Prologue concept straight to the road, the four-door sedan and five-door fastback are now mainstays fo the German automaker's range, and for the new model year they bring a lavish portfolio of gadgetry and active safety equipment to the table. That, plus a potent new engine.

It's a 3.0-liter V6, turbocharged and good for 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Quattro all-wheel drive is available, too, and the standard transmission is a seven-speed S tronic. Rear-wheel steering will be offered later in the model year.

Unfortunately the fiendishly clever HD Matrix LED lights aren't yet cleared for US roads: they rely on individually-controllable LEDs to automatically mask oncoming traffic from glare, while still keeping the high-beams on. What American drivers will get is a high-tech cabin with plenty of touchscreens and customization. Audi even uses your smartphone and your location in the car to automatically load up your personal profile – including seat, media, and HVAC settings – before you've pulled away.
