2019 Acura IXL Gallery

Last of the Acura line-up to embrace the latest company design language, but by no means least, the 2019 ILX promises plenty. At the front there's the automaker's more dynamic, aggressive grille, flanked by upgraded LED lights. At the rear, meanwhile, things are cleaner and more shapely.

The engine remains the same, a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder good for 201 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. It's hooked up to an 8-speed DCT transmission as standard. According to Acura, you can expect 24 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway, and 28 mpg combined.

Maybe more importantly, the starting price is now just $25,900 (plus $995 destination), significantly undercutting rivals. That's despite the AcuraWatch suite of active safety tech now being included across the board. If you're looking for more style, meanwhile, the 2019 ILX A-Spec – shown here – throws on more sporting glitz.
