2018 Range Rover Velar Gallery

When there's white space in your range, you fill it, and Land Rover took that idea to heart. The 2018 Range Rover Velar is the fourth model in the luxury SUV line-up. Slotting in-between the smaller Evoque and the larger Range Rover Sport, the Velar is a midsize option aiming for the mainstream.

It borrows styling cues from both, but at the same time introduces a new, pared-back design language for the automaker. The rest of the world will get laser headlamps while the US makes do with LEDs, but either way they're narrow and give the Velar an aggressive look from the front. Inside, there's space for five and a minimalistic dashboard, outfitted with Range Rover's new twin-touchscreen infotainment system.

The US will get three of the six engine options Range Rover plans to offer in total. One diesel, for economy-chasers, a four-cylinder gas engine, and finally a supercharged V6 gas engine. All-wheel drive is, of course, standard.
