Inbox now lets you snooze emails until "Later this week" or "This weekend"

I get a pretty steady flow of emails throughout the day. They range from very important, to junk email subscriptions that I really need to remember to unsubscribe from. And all too often, I'll get one that I intend to respond to a little bit later, but not while I'm in the middle of writing. Unfortunately that leads to me finding it again a few days later, and kicking myself for forgetting about it. Well, Google wants to help out people like me, who forget to respond to important emails in a timely manner.

If you've never checked out Inbox by Gmail, it's definitely worth a look. It's essentially a different way to manage your Gmail account, with some extra tools. It will bundle similar emails together, and highlights important things so that you can see them at a glance. One neat feature is the ability to hit snooze on your important emails that you want to get back to later.

The snooze feature has been around for a while now, but Google has decided that it needed an update. "Later this week" and "This weekend" join the four other existing snooze times. These are "Later today," "Tomorrow," "Next week," and "Someday." You can also choose to be notified again at a custom date and time, as well as when you reach a specific location.

The two new snooze additions were added based on user feedback. It's hoped that adding these will make it easier for those wanting to snooze, without having to pick specific times to be reminded.
