Genius unveils G-Shot HD575T slim camcorder

If you're in the market for a new camcorder and you want one that is very slim and has full 1080p resolution Genius has a new camcorder called the G-Shot HD575T you may want to look at. The camera has a main body that is only 2.28-inches wide making one the slimmest optical camcorders on the market. In addition to recording full HD video, the camcorder can also shoot 16 megapixel still images using software interpolation.

The camcorder has five times optical zoom along with four times digital zoom. The camcorder has a three-inch LT PS touchscreen display that folds and rotates. Brightness adjustments and auto exposure settings can be made directly from the screen and the camera ships with Arcsoft Total Media Extreme software. The camera features a motion activated recording setting that will turn the camera on and off when it senses someone in front of it.

Video is recorded to 32 MB of internal memory and it has dual SP slots supporting microSD and HCSD cards. The camera also includes an HDMI cable for watching videos directly on the TV. For better lighting on still images, the camera has integrated flash. Videos recorded in H.264 MOV format and images are stored in JPEG format. Pricing is unannounced.
