Galaxy S7 and S7 edge 'Pink Gold' option heading to US

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in a new 'Pink Gold' color will be launching in the United States in coming days, the company has announced. The new color will be a Best Buy exclusive, and will be Samsung's answer to Apple's reasonably popular Rose Gold iPhones. As a little extra incentive to get the new color into owners' hands, Best Buy will be giving customers who both buy and activate the device a $150 Best Buy gift card.

The new Pink Gold version will be available from Best Buy starting on August 28 (this upcoming Sunday). If you activate the phone after buying it, you'll get that aforementioned $150 gift card, which'll shave a bit of cost off the handset overall. Best Buy currently lists the S7 for $199/two-year contract, though you could always buy it on a monthly device payment plan or outright to avoid both monthly device payments and contract terms.
