Galaxy Note 9 in Silver will launch in these markets

The Galaxy Note 9 is well on its way and seems to be holding well despite the Galaxy S9 before it and the arrival of the Apple iPhone Xs and its siblings. However, it seems that Samsung wasn't showing its full hand yet. Not that it has more tricks up its sleeves, just more colors. Or one color at least. There is apparently a Silver variant of the Galaxy Note 9 that's coming to some market and, unfortunately, not in all markets.

Except for Midnight Black, the Galaxy Note 9 launched with rather flashy colors like Copper, Blue, and Lavender. Those who want more subdued hues were left with no choice but go for the darkest. If they haven't given in just yet, they might soon have a lighter but less flamboyant option.

So (Arctic) Silver is allegedly making a comeback, after being MIA since the Galaxy Note 8 last year. It won't be available in all territories, unsurprisingly, and SamMobile gives this shortlist of markets that will enjoy the literally cool color:

• ACR – Saudi Arabia

• AFR – Kenya

• ATO – Open Austria

• AUT – Switzerland

• BGL – Bulgaria

• DBT – Germany

• DKR – Kenya (Zain)

• ECT – Nigeria

• EUR – Greece

• ILO – Israel

• ITV – Italy

• KOO – Korea

• LUX – Luxembourg

• NEE – Nordic countries

• PEO – Peru

• PHN – Netherlands

• ROM – Romania

• SEB – Baltic

• SLK – Sri Lanka

• TCE – Mexico (Telcel)

• VDS – Sweden

• XAC – Canada

• XAR – Cellular south

• XEF – France

• XEH – Hungary

• XEZ – Czech Republic

• XFE – South Africa

• XSK – Slovakia

• ZTO – Brazil

Yes, no US again. Or UK for that matter. It's probably not going to be a deal breaker anyway, especially if there's no difference in specs and price. By this time, long-time Samsung users should already be used to how it doesn't play fair when it comes to colors.
