Galaxy Note 5 is most popular Android smartphone in the world says AnTuTu

Normally when we are talking about AnTuTu, we are looking at benchmarks for one smartphone or another. Since so many users around the world use the benchmarking tools at AnTuTu, the company is able to put together some lists of the most popular devices based on usage of its benchmarking tools from all around the world. Overall, the most popular devices in the world for the first half of 2016 include (in order from most popular to least) the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S7, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

AnTuTu enjoys users from all around the world so it is able to put together lists of devices that are popular in specific countries as well. In China, the top five most popular devices include the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Galaxy S7, LeEco 2, Xiaomi 4C, and Meizu Metal.

In Taiwan, the most popular devices include the Galaxy Note 5, Asus ZenFone 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, and HTC One M8. Moving on to Hong Kong, the top five devices include the Redmi Note 3, LG V10, Galaxy Note 5, Redmi Note 2, and Asus Zenfone 2. As you might expect in Korea, the most popular smartphones are from Samsung with that brand taking six out of the top ten slots. The top five includes the Galaxy Note 5, LG G3 Pro, Galaxy S6, LG V10, and Galaxy Note 4.

In the US, the top five most popular devices include the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, and the Galaxy S6. Samsung devices are the most popular in the US by far. Germany really likes Samsung phones as well with the top four slots taken by Samsung devices including the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 4, and OnePlus 2.
