Galaxy M20 with Samsung's first notch leaks out completely

With Samsung basically putting a date on its Galaxy S10 and foldable phone, all attention might be on the company's next flagships. But almost as if to remind the market that those aren't its only offerings, Samsung has also launched teasers for its upcoming budget-friendly line, the Galaxy M. But whether it intended to or not, the Galaxy M20, one of the first of that new breed, has now all but known thanks to a few well-timed leaks.

Samsung itself lead the way by practically revealing what the Galaxy M20 would look like. It will be the company's first Infinity-V (or Infinity-U) screen, which is to say its first screen with a notch. Samsung also teases the phone's large battery and, for the first time on a budget Samsung device, a USB-C port for fast charging.

Naturally, the company isn't saying anything about the details, but that's what leaks are for. That battery, for example, is believed to be 5,000 mAh, which is one of the highest on any Samsung phone, no matter the price tier. It's also expected to run on an Exynos 7885 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage. Sadly, those same leaks point to an Android 8.1 Oreo experience only.

As for the dual cameras on its back, one will be a 13 megapixel f/1.9 main camera supported by a 5 megapixel f/2.2 that also doubles as a wide-angle camera. No word yet on the front camera. Based on Samsung's own site, the Galaxy M20 will debut in India on January 28. No word yet if and when the phone will make its way to other markets.
