Ford is bringing crazy custom rides to SEMA 2018

Ford is bringing so many custom vehicles to SEMA that it is impossible to cover them all. Among the special rides are customized Ranger trucks, F-150s, Mustangs, and a bunch of custom SUVs. Ford appears to be particularly proud of the new Ranger customs and touts that the rides show some of the over 150 performance parts and accessories that will be available from Ford when the vehicle launches.

Ford will have seven custom Rangers at the show with two of them at the Ford display. One of those is the black and white pre-runner from Ford Performance meant to go anywhere. It has the FX4 off-road package and 3.73 electronic locking rear diff along with Fox suspension and special BFG K02 all-terrain tires. The list of custom parts on that truck is very long.

Another Ford truck is the Ranger Base Camp with a tent on the bed for camping. The A-pillar snorkel is a Ford Racing part and the truck has lots of other accessories. Custom F-Series rides are many and include the F-150 and Super Duty trucks. One of those trucks is a Kurt Busch and ZB Customs ride that is lowered and has 1000hp via a supercharger.

SpeedKore is on hand with an F-150 that was designed with help of country music star Brantley Gilbert, that truck has a lowered performance look. On the raised truck front is the Gen-2 Full-Race motorsports "Freak-O-Boost" that makes more power with a turbo upgrade to the 3.5L EcoBoost. Custom SUVs include tweaked Edge ST and an off-road styled Expedition that looks very cool.

Every year Ford has plenty of custom Mustangs on hand at SEMA and this year there are five. Galpin Auto Sports has a road racing-inspired Mustang with lots of Ford Performance parts and custom paint. Smoke Show is a drifting Mustang from CJ Pony Parts. Check out Ford's official SEMA page for details on all the cars, trucks, and SUVs heading to the show.
