Finis debuts XtreaMP3.1G MP3 player for water sports

Water and your typical MP3 player don’t mix. In fact, your typical MP3 player doesn’t mix well with sweat either. If you get your iPod damp odds are you will be in the market for a new one soon. With the players being rather fragile there is really no way people who like to swim are going to be able to wear one in the water.

This is where Finis comes in. The company has unveiled its latest MP3 player aimed at the athlete who sweats a lot and the swimmer. The player is called the XtreaMP3.1G and is both waterproof and sweat proof. The player has 1GB of storage, enough for about 240 songs.

The player is submergible, shock-resistant, and skip free. It attaches to a neoprene arm strap for comfortable wear while exercising and has waterproof ear buds that secure tightly into the ears. The player is available now for $149.99.
