Fallout 4 Pip-Boy app out now: strap it to your wrist!
This afternoon Bethesda released the Fallout Pip-Boy app for both Android and iOS devices. This app is a requirement if you're planning on using the Pip-Boy accessory included in the full special edition release of the game Fallout 4, but – as it turns out – that accessory is not entirely necessary. You can just use a bunch of duct-tape to attach your smartphone to your arm – it's easy! And a lot cheaper that way!
This app will connect the user to their Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC-based version of Fallout 4. When the app is enabled and connected, users will be able to show current status of the character in the game as well as data surrounding their location and inventory. You can also play the radio if you do so please.
This system will include Mini Games – using revolutionary advances in emulation technology. These games re holotype games, including Atomic Command for starters.
Above and below you'll see images from the DEMO MODE of the app. This DEMO MODE is available to all users – even if you don't have the game yet. Most features will be enabled once the game has been released.
This app is available through the Google Play app store for Android users right this minute. You can also get the app through the iOS AppStore for your iPhone or iPod touch.
Heed the requirements!
