Facelifted 2016 Nissan Sentra Bows In At LA Auto Show
Nissan has rolled the facelifted 2016 Sentra into the light at the LA Auto show today. The new car is upgraded and has revised exterior style and an updated interior. The new car has the familial resemblance to the attractive new Maxima sports sedan and goes with the new Nissan design language.
The updated Sentra also gets access to some new tech while the starting price remains low at $16,780. Among the new available options for the Sentra are intelligent cruise control, forward emergency braking, blind spot warning, and rear cross traffic alert.
Nissan plans to have the facelifted Sentra in dealerships by late December. Key features in the update are new front and rear fascias, grille, fenders, hood, and new headlights. A new 17-inch wheel design is available and the SR and SL grades also get a new LED low-beam projector headlight with LED signature accents.
SV, SR, and SL grades get a 5-inch display between the tach and speedometer and the car supports Siri Eyes Free. Other available options include dual zone climate control, Bose audio, push button start, and rearview monitor. The only engine offered is a 1.8L four with an Xtronic CVT, base S grade can be had with a 6-speed manual. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
