Facebook Watch is getting exclusive shows from FOX Sports

Joining the NFL and ESPN is FOX Sports with plans to release exclusive shows on Facebook Watch, the social media company's video streaming platform. Under the collaboration between the two companies, FOX Sports will release what it calls interactive shows exclusively on Facebook Watch, including ones that involve sports wagering and football.

Sports fans can expect a few new shows on Facebook Watch going forward, including the network's FOX Football Sunday program, which will stream on the network each following Monday morning. That will be joined by The People vs Colin Cowherd featuring Jason McIntyre and Colin Cowherd.

That latter show will be available on Facebook Watch three days a week. Fans will be able to vote on the teams and Cowherd will discuss 'where he believes they're right and wrong,' according to FOX.

Beyond that, the FOX Sports shows will include exclusive segments from FOX Liga MX, digging into the top soccer league in Mexico weekly with Ricardo Munguia and Raoul 'Pollo' Ortiz. The show is described as 'fast-paced' with details on the previous week's results and previews for future matches. Beyond that, fans can expect 'highlight packages' related to basketball, boxing, soccer, and bowling.

FOX Sports is the latest to promise sports content from Facebook Watch, which has previously been home to football and baseball games, among other things. Both the NFL and ESPN have recently announced plans to bring their own content to Facebook Watch, including video versions of NFL podcasts.
